Animal Workshops
Hands-on lab animal workshops are available for all faculty, staff, and students involved with animal research. "Animal Use and Awareness at UF Seminar" is available to anyone at UF interested in animal use. All are free of charge but space is limited. For more information, visit the online training schedule.

Center for Instructional Technology and Training (CITT)
The Center for Instructional Technology and Training offers faculty a variety of computer classes each semester. The class schedule, descriptions, and registration for classes are available online or at 2215 Turlington Hall. USPS and OPS staff members must have their office account number and encumbrance in order to register. Please call 392-7249 for more information.

English as a Second Language Training
The English Language Institute offers intensive English programs that prepare its students for using English in the real world.

IT Center Training, Health Science Center
The primary focus of Information Technology Center is to support the faculty and staff of the Health Science Center. The IT Center Training Room offers 15 student stations and a teacher workstation with a projector, interactive whiteboard, document camera, and an audiovisual system. The free computer workshops range in topics from Computer Basics to Microsoft Office to Internet Programming, offering basic to advanced levels.

Office of Informational Technology
The Office of Informational Technology keeps employees current on IT training projects throughout campus. The UF Information Technology Certification (UF ITC), formerly known as the Computer Challenge, and Peer2Peer Training are just two of the ongoing projects sponsored by the IT Training Committee.

Office of Victim Services
The Office of Victim Services at the University of Florida Police Department offers faculty and staff a wide range of free presentations on sexual battery, stalking, children and violence, date/acquaintance rape, date rape drugs, and domestic/relationship violence any day or time upon request. Online NETg Classes
Thanks to UF's partnership with NETg, hundreds of courses on information technology subjects are available to UF faculty, staff, and students. To take the NETg classes, you will need to be connected to the Internet via the UF Intranet and have a GatorLink account to access these materials. Please contact the Computer Networking Services (CNS) at 392-2061 with questions.

Smathers Library Computer Training
The Smathers Library staff now offers Excel and PowerPoint classes to all UF faculty and staff at Library West. To register, visit the Library Training and Staff Development page.

The Student Health Care Center offers training courses in CPR, BLS, first aid, first response, and much more.
