Our Organizational Development (OD) services focus on developing organizations and teams. From strategic planning to managerial coaching, retreat facilitation, and leadership training, our services are delivered by accomplished and educated OD practitioners who are dedicated to UF’s success as a top university. Bryan Garey, Assistant Director, Human Resource Services Bryan has a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Magna Cum Laude) from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. A native of Baltimore, Bryan has spent the last 20 years working as a professional actor and director, educator, and Human Resources professional. He is certified as a Professional in Human Resources through the Society of Human Resources Management. |

Bob Parks, Manager, Training & Organizational Development Currently the training manager for Training and Organizational Development, Bob Parks has more than 10 years teaching, professional training, and consulting experience. He has worked in both the university and corporate environments. |

Ruth Hernandez, Coordinator, Training & Organizational Development Ruth is a part-time member (20 hours per week) of the training and development team. With a broad base of experience in human resources, instructional development, process improvement, and workforce management, she provides training in the strategic areas of change management, project management, and time management. In the communications area, she also provides training in business writing and communicating assertively. Ruth has a B.S. and M.S. from Murray State University in Kentucky and has done post-graduate work at Loyola College in Baltimore, Bowie State University, and the University of Maryland. |

Heather Adams, Training & Organizational Development Heather has spent more than six years working in private, non-profit, and educational systems that focused on experiential training methods to improve personal and professional communities. Her work with organizations includes facilitating sessions to improve communication among team members as well as an overall enhancement of team function through conflict resolutions skills, customer service, and gaining a better understanding of relationship dynamics.
