- PST210 Hiring and Additional Pay (ePAF)
This course gives participants an overview of electronic Personnel Action Forms (ePAFs); walks participants through the process of completing hires for faculty, staff, fellowships, and OPS/ students; and reviews how and when to provide additional pay (which includes non-wage payables and payments for non-resident aliens). This course is required to obtain the UF_EPAF_Department Admin role, which gives security to use ePAF.
Security Roles
Promoting, Demoting, & Changing Jobs Within a Department/ Hiring at UF
You will need one of the following security roles to perform these actions:
- UF_EPAF_Department Admin
or - UF_EPAF_Level 1 Approver
Providing Additional Pay/Preparing Additional Pay for Cell Phones and Other Wireless Devices
You will need the following security roles to perform these actions:
• UF_EPAF_Department Admin
• UF_HR View/Inquiry
or
• UF_EPAF_Level 1 Approver
• UF_HR View/InquiryPlease note: You must take both PST210 Hiring & Additional Pay and PST096 Introducing E-Verify classes before you can receive the UF_EPAF_Department Admin or UF_EPAF_Level 1 Approver security role. It is also recommended that ePAF users take PST220 Job & Position Actions.
