Advertising a Position
TEAMS positions must be advertised on the University of Florida's web site for a minimum of seven days. Should an initial search not be successful, the department may readvertise the position. Positions must be readvertised for a minimum of three days. To extend or repost a position, the departmental administrator should contact their recruiter.
Temporary Positions
Temporary positions are not required to be posted on the University of Florida's web site although departments may choose to do so. If a department chooses to post a temporary vacancy, it may do so for any period of time. Applicants hired into temporary positions must meet the minimum requirements for the position, and the length of the appointment may be up to one year. Temporary TEAMS appointments are eligible for benefits and leave time. Please call Recruitment and Staffing at 392-2HRS for assistance or more information.
Outside Advertising
Recruitment and Staffing is responsible for the placement of all advertising for staff positions at UF. The hiring department is responsible for paying all costs associated. All advertisements must include:
- The university's logo
- Requisition number
- Position title/working title
- Minimum requirements and preferred requirements for the position
- Expected starting salary range
- Deadline date to apply
