Overview of Hiring Process
It is very important to follow the application instructions thoroughly. Here are some tips and general information to help guide you through UF's application process. For specific step-by-step instructions, visit jobs.ufl.edu and look for the instruction guides.
System Availability & Deadlines
The online system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In order to meet the application deadline, your completed online resume for a specified position must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on the deadline date.
Posting Length
- TEAMS staff positions initially must be advertised for a minimum of seven calendar days.
- TEAMS staff positions must be reposted for a minimum of three calendar days.
- OPS positions may post for any length of time.
The length of time it takes to complete a recruitment varies from one week to several months and depends on the type of position, schedules of interviewers, and the number and qualifications of those who apply. Please visit our frequently asked questions page for additional information.
