New look for myUFL splash page coming January 24
Changes to the myUFL splash page, the log on page for the myUFL portal, will be implemented on Sunday, January 24, as part of a set of enhancements to GatorLink security.

Weight Watchers® at Work meetings are now being held at the new Shands Cancer Hospital in the Criser Cancer Resource Center.
UF Plastic Surgery and Fresh Faces Skin Care Program offers employee discounts through March 31
Starting this month through March 31, UF Plastic Surgery and its nonsurgical Fresh Faces skin care program will be offering 20% discounts on some cosmetic procedures for UF and Shands employees.
Be on the lookout for your W-2 and year-end earnings statements
UF employees’ 2009 IRS Form W-2s will no longer be distributed by the departments. With the implementation of electronic W-2s, 2009 W-2s will be mailed by January 31, 2010, to employees who do not consent. 

Electronic IRS W-2/W-2c – There’s still time to consent
More than 14,000 UF employees have consented to receive their W-2 forms electronically through the myUFL system! If you have not consented, there is still time. 

Ensure your address is up-to-date for W-2 mailing

To ensure they receive their W-2s this month, those employees who do not consent to receive their W-2 electronically are encouraged to review their home and work addresses in the UF Directory to ensure they are accurate by completing the following steps:

Campus-wide effort underway to ensure the myUFL financial systems work for you—now and in the future

October of 2009 marked the official kick-off of the myUFL Financial Systems Upgrade.  Over the next 15 months, several teams of university employees will be working to ensure the financial systems continue to meet UF’s business demands—now and in the future. 

Reminder: University-wide resurvey is underway to address federal changes in reporting race and ethnicity

On October 1, 2009, the University of Florida began a process of resurveying individual faculty, staff, and students to give them the opportunity to identify their race and ethnicities using new federal guidelines.

It is important to review your payroll information each payday to ensure the proper premiums are being deducted for important/critical coverage, such as health and life insurance.
