UF officials monitoring A(H1N1) flu outbreak

UF officials are closely monitoring the Influenza A(H1N1) situation through contact with local and state health agencies and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Fringe Benefit Pool effective for fiscal year 2009-10

Currently, the University of Florida charges departments the actual cost of employee benefits. However, the Federal Office of Management and Budget allows universities to use an allocation method that applies fixed rates by employee groups, known as a “pooled fringe rate.”

If you have unused USPS personal holidays or TEAMS/FACULTY personal leave days, now is the time to use them. Any unused USPS personal holidays or TEAMS/faculty personal leave days not used by the end of the fiscal year will expire.

Employees must report
2008-09 compensatory leave

use by May 14
All non-exempt employees and all exempt USPS employees may use overtime and special compensatory leave, as applicable, through the end of the fiscal year—June 30—but the leave must be entered into the Weekly Elapsed Screen in the myUFL system no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.

Employees who are retiring or exiting DROP have several options regarding continuation of their state health, life, dental, and vision insurance plans.

Alternate Work Location Agreements due for renewal
