UF employees’ 2008 IRS Form W-2s will be distributed on January 28, 2009. UF also will provide employee year-end earnings statements, which will assist employees in comparing the amounts on the W-2 form to the earnings, deductions, taxes, and net pay on their last biweekly earnings statement for 2008. The year-end earnings statement also will include other nontaxable items as well as the university’s contributions on behalf of employees. |

New flex spending account grace period is now effective
The State of Florida’s Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) will feature a grace period that enables participants to continue to use their medical and dependent care accounts for eligible expenses from January 1 through March 15 for each calendar year.
