UF supervisors: It's time to complete staff performance appraisals
Once again, it is time to issue annual performance appraisals for USPS and TEAMS employees. The evaluation period for all USPS and TEAMS employees is from March 1, 2008, through February 28, 2009, with appraisals completed by March 31, 2009. The UF Retirement and Financial Planning Series offers a variety of workshops designed to offer insight and information that is especially relevant in the current financial climate.
Double-deductions begin for nine- and ten-month employees
To ensure coverage for health, state life, optional, and supplemental insurance continues during the summer, nine- and ten-month employees will have double-deductions taken from their paychecks beginning with the February 13 paycheck and continuing through May 8.

Get 2-for-1 tickets to the Gators vs. Alabama men’s basketball game!
Print this copy of the InfoGator and bring it and your Gator1 ID card to the Gator ticket office to redeem for 2-for-1 tickets to the Gator vs. Alabama men’s basketball game.
UF foreign national employees or nonresident aliens will receive their IRS 1042-S forms on or before March 16, 2009, since these employees have special withholding and reporting requirements with the IRS.
Leave cash-outs
Faculty and staff with sick and vacation leave cash outs valued at $2000 become participants in the Retirement Special Pay Plan.
Have you completed sexual harassment prevention training?
More than 7,000 employees have completed online training
As a way to increase awareness of University employees’ roles and responsibilities for keeping UF free from sexual harassment, the Office of Human Resource Services launched an online learning training course—“Preventing Sexual Harassment”—this past fall.
Flu shots available through the SHCC
Students, faculty, and staff can visit the Student Health Care Center on a walk-in basis to get a flu shot Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The cost is $5 for students and $25 for faculty and staff.
