The 2008-09 fiscal year-end overtime and special compensatory leave cashout will occur during the May 15-28 pay period for the pay date of Friday, June 5. Regular compensatory leave balances are retained.
Currently, the University of Florida charges departments the actual employer cost of employee benefits. However, the Federal Office of Management and Budget allows universities to use an allocation method that applies fixed rates by employee groups, known as a “pooled fringe rate.”
GatorGradCare summer-only coverage will begin on May 16 and end on August 15. Summer-only coverage is for students who did not previously enroll in annual or spring/summer coverage for the 2008-09 academic year.
The 2009 Fiscal Year-End Schedule is now available on the Finance and Accounting web site. The schedule can be sorted in the preferred order by clicking on a column heading. Further details were provided in a DDD from the University Controller.
Unused USPS personal holidays or TEAMS/Faculty personal leave days not used by the end of the fiscal year will expire, so now is the time for affected employees to use them.
