GatorJobs and the Chronicle of Higher Education have successfully integrated their systems to offer a new advertising tool! When you select Chronicle under the External Advertising section of your GatorJobs requisition, the vacancy will automatically download overnight to the Chronicle of Higher Education online job site.
After a review of the recruitment process of positions posted from 2006 to 2008, and in light of the impending budget issues at the University of Florida, HRS is suspending the use of Open Until Filled for TEAMS and OPS requisitions effective immediately.
Nine- and ten-month employees will be placed on Short Work Break during the weekend of March 27.
Summer jobs for nine-month faculty and graduate assistants will be processed via a summer job file that will be available to the departments the week of March 30.
The enrollment period for summer-only coverage under GatorGradCare will begin in March.
Please be aware that many employees who enter the DROP program will choose to cash out vacation leave up to the maximum allowed so that the value of the leave can be used in their retirement benefit calculation.
Thank you to all the departments who have used our new ePAF Fax Imaging tool. HRS processed 21,338 ePAF fax images in January!
