New I-9 Employment Eligibility Form delayed

Use of the new I-9 has been delayed until April 3, 2009, by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).   Until further notice, employers should continue to use the current version of Form I-9 —with a revision date of June 5, 2007—for all newly hired employees to verify their identity and work eligibility.

Remember to close requisitions in GatorJobs

Department administrators are reminded to close out all searches in GatorJobs.  Upon hiring or making the decision to close or postpone the search, please remember to immediately change the status of all applicants who were not hired and add a reason code in GatorJobs.  Hires for TEAMS and OPS positions will not be approved until the recruitments have been closed in GatorJobs.

Revised background screening form now available

To ensure background checks are done accurately and timely, Recruitment & Staffing has published a revised Background Screening Request Form.  Please submit the form only once, as duplicate submissions may incur additional costs to the originator.  If you have questions and/or would like to verify the receipt of the request, please contact John Sun at (352) 392-2477.
