As part of the University of Florida's transition to a Responsibility Center Management (RCM) budget system, the Office of the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer is conducting several "Introduction to RCM" workshops this fall. RCM is a new budget system to which the university is currently transitioning.
On July 26, myUF Market underwent the first of what will in the future be quarterly upgrades to bring improvements such as enhanced features and greater ease of use to end users.
University of Florida graduate students on appointments—including graduate assistants, teaching assistants, and research assistants—may participate in the GatorGradCare Health Plan. To be eligible, students must be enrolled and registered in a graduate degree program, on a UF appointment, and appropriately appointed 0.25 FTE or greater for the semester(s) in which they participate in the plan.
Due to the impact of the recent budget reductions, Human Resource Services will begin charging $75 per day for certain computer application workshops.
GatorGradCare enrollees who terminate or apply for a medical withdrawal prior to the end of their employment contracts should contact the Graduate Assistant Benefits Office as soon as possible to ensure they receive information regarding their GatorGradCare coverage. |
