Annual benefits Open Enrollment period runs Sept. 22-Oct. 17
This year’s benefits Open Enrollment period begins September 22 at 8:30 a.m. and ends October 17 at 5:30 p.m. (EST). Open enrollment is an annual window of time that provides an opportunity for UF employees to make plan changes without requiring a qualifying event (e.g., change in marital status, birth/adoption, leave of absence, FTE changes, etc.).

Federal Court Strikes Down Non-State Travel Funding Ban
A federal court in Florida has held that two Florida statutes (1011.90(6) and 112.061(3)(e)) are unconstitutional and unenforceable to the extent that they ban the use of non-state funds by state universities for travel to terrorist countries.
