Reminder: Changes to appointment and termination process for student assistants
As mentioned in the March InfoGator, departments are no longer required to submit copies of hire paperwork if a student assistant or OPS employee has been employed at UF in any capacity during the last 12 months. Recruitment and Staffing and Student Employment worked together to change these requirements in an effort to streamline the hiring process of student assistants and OPS.
Departments should enter the hire ePAF, if the employee is coming to a new department, or a Job Change ePAF if the employee is currently working in that department. It is helpful to include comments on the ePAF to communicate the change that is being made.
