Registration for Human Resource Services' fall schedule of personal and professional development programs is now open. Some of the courses offered this fall include the Pro3 Series and Managing at UF: the Supervisory Challenge, as well as Microsoft Office 2007 courses, personal development courses and myUFL system training. An interactive course catalog is available.
To register today, log on to myUFL, select “My Self Service,” “Training and Development,” then “Request Training Enrollment.” When searching by course name or number, leave the field blank to get a list of all available courses.

Important reminders from UF Retirement
University Benefits and Retirement offers the following reminders as you plan for the future.
- Fidelity Investments will offer a Roth 403(b) savings plan, beginning with the September 12, 2008, paycheck. If you need information about how to set up this deferral, please contact a Fidelity Representative at 1-800-841-3363 ext. 73381 for more detailed information.
- If you are planning on retiring or joining DROP (Deferred Retirement Option Program), please call the Retirement Office at 392-2477 to schedule a counseling appointment one to two months prior to your retirement/ DROP date.

Faculty and staff can now renew driver licenses and more on campus
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles will be bringing their mobile Mini-Flow unit to campus. The unit will be located on the Plaza Level of the UF Bookstore & Welcome Center on Museum Road from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., August 13-15, 19-21, 26-28, and September 2-4.

Employee Smoking Cessation Program
The Student Health Care Center (SHCC) has teamed up with the University’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and the University of Florida Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) to offer all UF employees a comprehensive smoking cessation program. The next program starts Monday, September 8, and registration is available online.
