Anyone trained on ePAF after May 16 must have the appropriate role assigned by their DSA. DSAs should request either the UF_EPAF Department Administrator or UF_EPAF Level 1 Approver, but not both.  In addition, request the UF_HR View/Inquiry if the user does not have this role. 

DSA Protocol
DSAs are asked to not submit any type of security requests on behalf of themselves.  Such requests should come from another DSA following appropriate review by the unit administration.

Watch for perquisite renewals

Departments should have recently received renewal information with perquisites approved for the 2005-2006 fiscal year. To renew, delete, or make changes to perquisites for the 2006-2007 fiscal year, departments should use the report and instructions provided and submit renewal information to Employment and Classification no later than July 1. Service pins distributed for FY 05-06

Service pin coordinators from throughout UF met on June 21 and received service pins for employees in their areas for 05-06.  The service pin program at UF is designed to recognize continuous service of USPS and TEAMS employees.  

"We apologize for the delay in the service pin program over the past year, but look forward to getting the program back on track," said Jodi Gentry, associate director currently responsible for the program.  

At the service pin coordinator meeting, service pins for FY 05-06 were provided to department representatives.  The service pin coordinators also provided their ideas for improving the service pin program for FY 06-07 and beyond. IFAS and Health Affairs have a separate service pins system. For more information about IFAS and Health Affairs service pins contact Alice Croft.
