Reminder about December payroll and accelerated schedule implemented for January 5, 2007, pay day
Wednesday, December 13, at noon: The Human Resource deadline for the January 5, 2007, pay day, has an early deadline of noon on December 13, 2006. Changes or additions to Human Resource records received after this time will impact the January 19, 2007, pay day. A detailed payroll schedule has been created to guide you through this accelerated schedule.
Friday, December 15: Payroll for the December 22 pay day should be confirmed (calculations completed) on Friday, December 15. This is the normal processing schedule.
Wednesday, December 20, by 5 p.m.: This is the last day for employees to enter time worked and other exceptions to the regular work week for the pay period of December 15, 2006, to December 28, 2006. Payroll Approvers must approve this time by 9 a.m. on December 21, 2006.
By Wednesday, December 20: Employees who want their 2006 payroll totals should print their last payroll earnings statement for the pay period ending December 14, 2006 (pay day of December 22, 2006), in myUFL > “My Self Service” to obtain totals for 2006.
If the earnings statement is printed after December 20, 2006, the 2006 totals will not be available in “My Self Service.” After December 20, 2006, Department Administrators may print the last payroll earnings statement for 2006 via myUFL>UF Departmental Administration.

GatorGradCare insurance plan enrollment open for Graduate Students
Enrollment for GatorGradCare is currently running ahead of schedule with nearly 1,900 enrollments into the graduate student health insurance plan. Graduate students on an appointment with a minimum of .25 FTE and appropriately registered, are eligible to participate in this plan beginning January 1, 2007.
Remember, eligible graduate students must log on to www.gatorgradcare.com prior to January 30, 2007, in order to complete the enrollment process. The GatorGradCare brochure and other related information can be found on the Human Resource Services web site.
The university will cover the entire premium cost of the GatorGradCare plan for eligible graduate students. The plan is marketed by Student Resources and underwritten by The MEGA Life and Health Insurance Company. Students may also choose to cover a spouse, registered domestic partner, and/or children, but they will be responsible for paying the premium for those dependents.

December 22, 2006, is the last day to close out requisitions in the eRecruit system. Please take a moment to review your eRecruit open requisitions. These positions need to be filled, closed, or canceled by December 22, 2006, to ensure proper auditing for university hiring. Please contact your recruiter for assistance.
