Disciplinary Processes

We hope that every employee successfully maintains the standards for performance and conduct while employed at the University of Florida. Questions relating to the disciplinary process should be directed to the appropriate Human Resource Services Satellite Office.

Grievances & Complaints

Includes information on the Employee Assistance Program and unemployment compensation.

Labor Relations

In an effort to build an atmosphere that is mutually beneficial to both the university and its employees, Human Resource Services administers a comprehensive labor relations program.

 

Performance Appraisals

So that employees may obtain essential information about work performance, employees with more than six months of service are formally evaluated by their supervisors on an annual basis. Supervisors will complete an appraisal that covers March 1 through the end of February each year.

Reorganization & Layoffs

Questions relating to the layoff process should be directed to the appropriate Human Resource Services Satellite Office. A web site has been created with critical information related to the decisions that have been made at the university, how the layoff process works, and the available services for impacted employees.

Workplace Disputes

The Employee Relations section of Human Resource Services encourages and promotes a positive working relationship among university employees.
