2008 Higher Education Opportunity Recipients
The drawing for the 2008 scholarship was held March 17, 2008 at the HRS building and 50 TEAMS employees were chosen at random from a list of 92 eligible applicants. For each child selected, the university will pay the in-state matriculation fees, less any Bright Futures scholarship award, for a maximum of 132 credit hours toward an undergraduate degree at the University of Florida or a public community college in the state over a six-year period for each selected child.
