A state of Florida university employee (non-UF) seeking to attend the University of Florida needs to do the following, in order:
- Follow the guidelines for your employing university's employee education program.
- Complete the Mandatory Immunization and Health History form (first semester only).
- Be admitted to the University of Florida as a degree-seeking student or submit a completed non-degree registration form to the UF Office of the University Registrar.
- Arrange for a letter to be sent on your employing university's letterhead with the following:
- Billing information (i.e., who at the employing university should receive a bill)
- Your social security number or UFID number
- The courses that will be paid for
- The fees that will be covered by the employing university

- Must be received by the close of business on the first day of classes for the intended semester. See the Registrar's listing of critical dates for more information on this period.
- Pay the fees for which you are responsible. Visit the Finance & Accounting web site to determine how much you owe and how to pay. You may have fees associated with registering for courses, such as materials and supplies.

A Florida state-agency employee seeking to attend the University of Florida needs to do the following, in order:

- Be admitted to the university as a degree-seeking student or submit a completed non-degree registration form to the Office of the University Registrar.
- Please check whether your course choices are approved by visiting the Registrar's Office's http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/staff/employeed.html (approved courses) schedule of courses. Please note that this program does not permit enrollment in thesis, dissertation, internship, directed individual study, individual performance, non-credit, sponsored credit, off-book program, or some distance education courses.
- Complete a Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) form.
- Submit a copy of the completed TFW form by the close of business on the last day of the drop/add period for approval to register to:

Please note: Registration (step 6) also must be completed before the close of business on the last day of drop/add. The Office of the University Registrar will be responsible for forwarding a copy of the completed TFW form to University Financial Services.
