Human Resource Services

Education Benefits

The University of Florida provides multiple options for educational assistance outside of seminars and workshops offered on campus. Programs are available for faculty and staff and, in some cases, for dependents of faculty and staff. For more information on our educational opportunities please visit our web sites below.

The university also participates in a Tuition Exchange Program which is managed by the Provost's office.

Employee Education Program

The University of Florida offers funding to allow eligible employees to take courses at UF and other Florida state universities through the Employee Education Program. It also enables employees of other state of Florida universities and agencies to take courses at UF.

Higher Education Opportunity for Children of TEAMS Employees

Each year, Human Resource Services will choose at random from a pool of eligible applicants 50 children of TEAMS employees to participate in this program. For each child selected, the university will pay the in-state matriculation fees, less any Bright Futures scholarship award, for a maximum of 132 credit hours toward an undergraduate degree at the University of Florida or a public community college in the state over a six-year period.
