2007 Open Enrollment Archive
Each year, Annual Open Enrollment gives employees an opportunity to take a look at their existing benefit plans to evaluate any anticipated needs and to make adjustments for the upcoming plan year.
How to Enroll or Make Changes during Open Enrollment
You may enroll or make changes to state-sponsored benefits by doing any one of the following:
- Go online to make changes via the People First web site.
- Call to speak with an agent at the People First Service Center (PFSC) at 1-866-663-4735 to enroll or make a change.
- Submit a paper enrollment form to the PFSC.
You will need the user ID and password provided by People First to access your enrollment. If you don’t have a user ID or password, contact the People First Service Center (PFSC) for assistance. Please review the People First password guidelines for more information about an expired or forgotten password.

If you need additional instructions on how to enroll, or how to use the People First web site, training videos are available to help you. View the "How to Navigate the Health and Insurance Section" video now.
Or, log-in to People First and click on Training Videos on the top right. Select the "How to Navigate the Health and Insurance Section" video. Other videos may provide useful information about navigating the People First web site, however they are designed for state employees who are managed under the People First payroll system. Therefore, all training information may not be relevant for university employees.
Changes to UF-sponsored benefits should be made by completing the enrollment form for the appropriate benefit and returning the form to the Office of Human Resource Services, University Benefits and Retirement, P.O. Box 115007 or to Human Resource Services satellite office nearest you.

| Important Dates at UF | Employee Benefits Fair - October 1 - 2, 2007
During the Benefits Fair, information sessions will be offered specifically pertaining to the dental plans. The sessions will provide general plan information and changes that are taking place during annual enrollment. Sessions will be held in the Reitz Union in Room 286 at the times listed below. Registration is not required for sessions held in the Reitz Union.
State Benefit Fairs Schedule (PDF) Open Enrollment Information Session (Course code GET019) Sessions held 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., HRS Building, Room 119 Open enrollment runs from October 1 through October 26 and allows employees to make changes to their benefit plans effective January 1, 2008. This session provides an overview of the changes to the plans and assistance in completing those changes online. Please be sure to bring your People First user ID and password as you will be enrolling during this session. You can obtain your People First user ID and password by calling 1-866-663-4735. You may also find your People First user ID by going to myUFL > My Self Service > Benefits > Dependent and Beneficiary Information. Dental Information Sessions (Course code GET022) Tuesday, October 16, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. To register for either the Open Enrollment or Dental Information Sessions, log on to the myUFL portal and follow this navigation: My Self Service > Training and Development > Request training enrollment. Enter the course number for the session you want to attend. |
