$10,000 for employee; $5,000 for dependents, subject to 50 percent of employee coverage.

Can apply via medical application at any time for amounts over guaranteed renewal amounts during open enrollments.

Eligible dependents:

  • Children under 19 years old
  • Children ages 19-23 and are full time students

Disabled children are eligible for coverage as long as they remain dependent. Dependents who no longer meet eligibility criteria must be removed from coverage by contacting the University Benefits Office.
